Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Clean Driving Record (No major traffic violations, tickets or accidents for the last 5 years.)
Must pass pre-employment DOT physical/drug screening
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
Ability to pass background checks for secure facility access
Applicants must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis in order to be considered.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines
Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspection and maintain inspection reports
Maintain daily mileage logs and work tickets
CCTV operator will run the camera equipment through various types and sizes of pipe to perform a detailed inspection - specifics to change based on client, municipality, state entity requirements
PC operation to include creating word documentation, excel spreadsheet creation, PDF sizing and scaling
Willing to learn specific NASSCO software - with certification classroom time expected.
Willing to perform basic MOT operations
Safely operate commercial vehicle while driving and maneuvering in a variety of situations, such as heavy traffic, construction sites, and tight areas within Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia
Maintain assigned vehicle(s) to a high standard of cleanliness
Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers
