About The Position

The position involves leading Cable Shop Technicians in the testing, inspecting, and loading/unloading of ESP cable. The role requires ensuring that all testing and inspection procedures are completed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and involves training new employees on handling ESP cable and testing processes. Additionally, the position includes overseeing the loading and unloading of ESP cable onto spools and transportation vehicles, monitoring inventory for accuracy, and ensuring adherence to corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment. The role also involves investigating causes of lost or damaged equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Clean driving record required for vehicle operators.
• 2-3 years’ ESP experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence as required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Basic hand tool proficiency.
• Basic computer skills required to operate computerized test equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
