Requirements

• Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace.
• Ability to set up fin press (twisting & turning) 25%.
• Ability to operate fin press (standing) 50%.
• Ability to remove fins from machine (bending & stooping) 25%.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate a fin press and/or a mechanical expander per instructions from a Group Leader to produce fins or complete coils of acceptable quality.
• Setup and operate a fin press for various fins per inch and corrugation.
• Setup and operate an expander for various coil widths, lengths, depths and designs and coil assembly.
• Recognize malfunctions of equipment versus improper setup when products do not agree with drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Use various measuring instruments.
• Assist in training personnel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
