About The Position

MARC Community Resources is seeking compassionate individuals and families to become Community Companion Home (CCH) providers. CCH providers are licensed through the State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to offer nurturing, family-like homes where people can share responsibilities, build relationships, and grow in independence. Supported by MARC’s CCH department, providers complete the licensing process, which includes extensive training, background checks, a home study, and a fire safety review. Once licensed, MARC and DDS carefully work to find the best match for your household.

Requirements

• Compassionate individuals or families willing to provide care.
• Ability to complete the licensing process, including training and background checks.

• Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities.

• Open your home to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Provide a supportive and welcoming environment.
• Share responsibilities and build relationships with individuals in your care.
