About The Position
Joining the Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations will allow you to use your expertise to manage one or more national programs in order to help to detect and prevent terrorists and instruments of terror from entering/exiting the U.S. Apply for this exciting opportunity to direct programs that strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security. This position starts at a salary of $111,442.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $144,876.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $144,876 GS-13 Step 10. Temporary Assignment: To meet agency needs, this position will be filled on a temporary basis not-to-exceed (NTE) 3-5 year(s), with possible extension(s) for an additional 1 year(s). You may be returned, at any time, to the position you held prior to this temporary promotion or to a different position of equivalent grade and pay, and that the return is not subject to the procedures found in 5 C.F.R. §§ 351, 432, 752, and 771.
