About The Position

The Senior Associate position is with Crescent’s multi-strategy team in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities will include monitoring existing portfolio companies, communicating credit updates to the investment team, and managing amendment discussions. The role also involves performing due diligence on new investments with investment bankers, private equity sponsors, management teams, and expert consultants. Additionally, the Senior Associate will create and maintain financial models and credit memorandums, assist with strategic initiatives including a wide variety of special projects such as strategic M&A and new capital formation, and assist with regular reporting requirements for multi-strategy funds including registered investment vehicles. The position requires preparing ad-hoc reports including portfolio analytics, competitive benchmarking, and perspective investor marketing materials, as well as working closely with portfolio analytics and administration teams to develop portfolio monitoring tools and related reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience as an investment professional working in private credit and/or investment banking
  • Knowledge of loan terms and structures, credit documentation, and financial statement analysis required
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Professional individual with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of alternative investment fund structures and related reporting requirements
  • Ability to prioritize several tasks at one time and meet tight deadlines
  • Pro-active person who enjoys working in teams and can take individual responsibility
