It is the cornerstone for all that we do here at Wyld. -Make a Mark -We Blaze Our Own Trail -Brand First -We Mean Business Summary Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor or Manager, the Sanitation Lead is responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the production equipment, dishes, and other equipment within the facilities of Wyld. The Sanitation Lead will make sure all areas are sanitized and in presentable condition. You will also be required to conduct daily sanitation inspections. The Sanitation Lead will also be responsible for securing the facility at the end of each shift.

Requirements

  • Experience with the utilization of sanitation tools and chemicals, food safety, and the safe operation of standard sanitation equipment.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with the safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Responsibilities

  • Completes nightly cleaning check to ensure all areas and equipment are ready to meet pre-operations goals established by Wyld, including:
  • Clean all dishes, floors, walls, sinks and tables.
  • Empty all trash containers, refill toilet paper, hand towels and soap dispensers in wash rooms located in the production area and all other areas of the facility
  • Conducts routine service and maintenance on sanitation equipment (e.g. assemble and disassemble sweepers, scrubbers, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
  • Assist Supervisors and Managers in training and coaching Sanitation Technicians, and other employees as necessary, on proper procedures, techniques and compliance protocol
  • Communicate sanitation or safety gaps and errors to Supervisors, Managers and/or Directors
  • Secures and locks facility at the end of the shift
  • Operates sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other custodial equipment
  • Mixes and uses chemicals related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment
  • Maintains records, files, and processes single documents
  • Maintains Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
  • Orders materials, record expenditures, and prepare reports as directed.
  • Understands and adheres to WYLD processes, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and safety practices
  • Assist the Facilities Manager or Supervisor as needed
  • Ensure a safe working environment. Review and communicate daily on all safety related topics of discussion

  • As a non-exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage of $24.00-$28.95/hr paid biweekly, overtime, 11 paid holidays, 80 hours of PTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
