Vertex Aerospace is seeking a Central Technical Publications Librarian/Training Coordinator for the F-5 Program in Key West, FL. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of technical publications within the Central and Dispersed Libraries, ensuring compliance with the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series and the NAVAIR 00-25-100 guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and upkeep of all technical publications, managing publication inventory through the NATEC Electronic Library Management System (ELMS), and performing both scheduled and unscheduled audits of library resources. In addition to managing technical publications, the role involves instructing assigned personnel in their operational duties, maintaining comprehensive records of correspondence and directives, and initiating reports for any discrepancies found in technical publications. The librarian will also be tasked with maintaining employee training records, tracking training completion, and identifying deficiencies in training programs. This position requires a proactive approach to quality control administration and the ability to assist in ensuring the safety and security of both government and company-owned equipment. The Central Technical Publications Librarian/Training Coordinator will also develop training programs to ensure all employees are properly trained and certified as required. This includes monitoring training program progress, coordinating schedules, and maintaining documentation. The role may require the individual to assist in various capacities, including HAZMAT/HazWaste Custodian duties, and to comply with all safety regulations and environmental policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
