Perform repairs on scheduled maintenance aircraft as authorized by supervisory personnel. Assist with ordering tools, parts, and material. Ensure proper operation and use of test equipment and Ground Support Equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the work center and assigned work area. Adhere to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations. Adhere to the Tool Control Program. Comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations. May be required to perform Collateral Duty Inspector functions when qualified and certified. Document work accomplished on government and company electronic and/or manual information systems. Must possess personal tools required to perform the work in the classification. Assist with engine wash by performing ground turns (if qualified and assigned). May be required to remove and reinstall cowlings, doors, and panels. Monitor and assist the line move crew when operating inside the hangar. Perform other related duties within the job classification. Assist in ensuring the safety, security, inventory, and preservation of Governmentâowned and Companyâowned equipment.
