This position is for a CBA Aircraft Mechanic specializing in DEPOT-level structures for T45 aircraft. The role involves performing comprehensive modifications, removals, replacements, and reinstallations of aircraft structures, including part fabrication and ensuring structural integrity. Key responsibilities include adjusting, setting up, troubleshooting, and repairing various metalworking equipment and tools used in aircraft structural maintenance. The mechanic will also be responsible for developing and recommending structural repair and replacement procedures, fabricating metal, plastic, phenolic, and fiberglass parts, and assisting with P&E report preparation. Additional duties include performing aircraft optical alignment checks, providing technical guidance, maintaining detailed records, and utilizing technical publications for troubleshooting and repair. The role requires performing aircraft inventory, acceptance, and transfer inspections, as well as engine, flight control, and landing gear rigging. The mechanic will troubleshoot, service, and repair aircraft engines, airframes, and systems to ensure airworthiness, and will be involved in rebuilding major aircraft structures. Adherence to FOD prevention rules and the Company Tool Control Program is mandatory, and all work must be documented in the NALCOMIS System.
