About The Position

Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required to accomplish maintenance tasking in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions (responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.) Shall receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks. Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems. Must be a technically qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable individual who is capable of exercising an appropriate level of responsibility in the F18 Avionics area. Provides technical support to electronic project engineers, shall utilize excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet daily flight schedule. Provides technical guidance and expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts. Minimum Education and Experience Required: Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications. Shall have minimum of five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience. Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices Minimum five years Organizational Level Avionics/Electrical experience on P-8 aircraft (24 of the 36 months within last 3 years preferred). Experienced in maintaining their assigned specific T/M/S aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, weapons release and control checks, aircraft conventional weapons load team member, aircraft conventional weapons load team leader, aircraft communications and navigation system and aircraft instruments. Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems Experience as T/M/S CDI or CDQAR is required O-Level T/M/S experience is required. High School graduate or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain/maintain secret security clearance

Requirements
