About The Position
The position involves preparing items for shipment according to TCP standards, with responsibilities varying based on departmental assignments. The role requires adherence to guided procedures to ensure that each shipment is processed correctly, including inspection of packages for proper labeling and packaging. The associate will also be responsible for identifying and notifying supervisors of any irregularities and assisting in troubleshooting shipping discrepancies. The job includes receiving cases using automated systems, verifying information against records, physically palletizing cases, and maintaining a clean work area while providing excellent customer service to delivery drivers and internal departments.
