Caulking Crew Foreperson - East
About The Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work concurrently with crew to complete job while supervising work Ensure that established safety policies are followed Train and mentor others on the Caulking Crew as needed Provide work direction, and promote teamwork, amongst the crew members Daily logging and review of crew members hours to ensure payroll accuracy Represent the company on, and off, job sites and communicate effectively with general contractor and sub-contractors Implement company policies and procedures to ensure work performance is in compliance with ISO and OSHA standards, and DOT regulations Complete new hire paperwork for local union members when required Provide daily reporting via tablet as required to administrative personnel Provide input for project pre-planning and follow field plans Keep supervisors informed on the job's progress and estimate completion dates Communicate resource problems to supervisors in a timely manner Verify caulk details prior to starting the job Review plans, complete an estimate/take off and order caulking material for projects Complete caulking in a systematic manner to ensure completion and efficient use of resources
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Two years minimum of precast caulking experience
- Computer skills
- Ability to use construction mensuration equipment (i.e. transits, levels, and laser levels)
- Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
- Possess excellent work habits and be able to demonstrate them to subordinates
- Ability to effectively communicate with personnel at different levels
- Ability to foresee potential problems and take necessary action to prevent the problems from occurring
- Ability to work in an organized manner and adapt readily to change
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work extensive overtime when required
- Ability to work from ladders and aerial work platforms
- Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailer
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Completion of OSHA 30-hour
