About The Position

The State Street Global Cybersecurity team is looking for Cyber Controls Analyst with 5-7 years of industry experience in evaluating security control design and implementation. In this role, you will work closely with multiple stakeholder teams, including app development teams, to ensure our information systems and platforms are secure by design and remain compliant with the evolving regulatory landscape. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess the effectiveness of security controls and develop risk profiles
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity compliance requirements
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis, vulnerability assessment, and security control assessment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CISM, or CISA are desired, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations
  • Determine the impact of software configurations
  • Develop cybersecurity risk profiles
  • Conduct independent comprehensive assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls
  • Assess the effectiveness of security controls
  • Conduct evaluations of technology programs or their individual components to determine compliance with published standards
