About The Position

The Catholic Music Director & Musician at Foothills Chapel, Beale AFB, CA, is responsible for providing music for weekly Catholic Mass, monthly choir rehearsals, and special services throughout the year. This role involves selecting and leading liturgical music in coordination with the Catholic Chaplain, directing the choir, and accompanying worship with voice and instrument. The position also includes recruiting, training, and managing volunteer musicians, maintaining equipment and records, and submitting an annual music budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music (preferred).
• 2+ years’ experience directing choirs and leading Catholic worship.
• Ability to sight-read and perform from OCP/GIA/Gather sources.
• Skilled in vocal/instrumental performance and audio/visual systems.
• Must pass background checks; references and audition required.
