About The Position

We are seeking a Catheterization Laboratory Manager, sometimes referred to as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager, Cath Lab Manager or Manager of Cardiovascular Services. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager oversees the daily operations, staff, and performance of the Cath Lab to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality cardiac care. Cath Lab Managers role blends clinical knowledge, leadership, and operational management. Requirements

  • Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Certified American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Require a minimum of one year of supervisory/management experience
  • Require one year of Cath Lab experience
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings
  • Operate Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Cath Lab operations including workflow, scheduling, staffing, and patient throughput
  • Supervise and develop Cath Lab staff ensuring competencies, training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate with cardiologists and surgeons on case preparation, room turnover, protocols, and rapid issue resolution
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality standards while monitoring key metrics like door-to-balloon times and patient outcomes
  • Oversee equipment, supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships while managing budgets, expenses, and capital planning
  • Serve as a liaison across clinical departments and lead emergency readiness including STEMI activations and call systems
