About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide on-demand case coverage, procedural support, and in-servicing across the Houston region. Candidates with RCIS, RT(R), CVT, or RN credentials and strong Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This PRN/1099 role is designed for professionals who want flexibility and autonomy. While Houston will be your primary coverage area, there may be occasional PRN opportunities in Austin or San Antonio (with mileage reimbursement).

Requirements

• Active credential: RCIS, RT(R), RN, or CVT.
• 3+ years of Cath Lab/IR/Hybrid OR experience.
• Familiarity with interventional devices (Impella, Inari, AngioJet, IVUS, pacemakers/ICDs, etc.).
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel regionally.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with medical device education/consulting.
• Exposure to advanced cardiovascular and peripheral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support Cath Lab cases in scrub and monitor roles for a variety of cardiovascular and peripheral procedures.
• Deliver staff/device education during procedures and follow-up sessions.
• Assist physicians during advanced interventions such as structural heart, thrombectomy, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and device implants.
• Maintain current knowledge of cardiovascular devices and techniques.
• Travel regionally in Houston, with occasional PRN travel to Austin/San Antonio.

Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $50–$75/hr ($104,000 – $156,000 annualized, depending on hours worked).
