About The Position

Travel Cath Lab Technologist (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in New Lenox, IL. Contract Details 10 hr, Days Start Date: 5/4/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: New Lenox, IL Hourly Pay: $ 47.50 Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $2,671.00 EMR: Cerner Level II Trauma Weekend Requirements: TBD On Call Requirements: 8-10 days a month Vaccine Requirement: COVID and Flu vaccination required - NO DECLINATIONS WILL BE APPROVED Please add vaccination status in the submission notes From decreased recovery times and decreased costs, to less pain and shorter (if any) hospital stays, interventional radiology, which uses radiological technology to perform minimally invasive interventional techniques, is revolutionizing the way many health services are delivered. Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and patients Attending patient consultations Performing initial examinations and patient assessments Making recommendations to the referring physician, the patient, and patient’s family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist Performing daily rounds and communicating patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologist

Requirements

  • 2 years Cath Lab experience is required
  • Experience with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR and interventional radiology cases is required
  • BLS and ACLS is required at time of submission
  • 30 minute response time for call
  • ARRT is required; (RCIS will not be approved)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Monitor and document patient vitals during procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and echocardiography machines
  • Assist physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, and stenting procedures
  • Ensure all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use
  • Administer medications and contrast agents as directed by the cardiologist
  • Maintain detailed patient records and procedure documentation
  • Collaborate with the cardiac team to provide optimal patient care
  • Perform emergency procedures such as defibrillation during acute cardiac events
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
  • Conduct post-procedure care and monitor patient recovery
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology and imaging techniques
