The Cath Lab Tech demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Graduate of an accredited school or training program.
- Maintains certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Maintains Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Maintains current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.
- Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff, management, and providers.
- An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
- Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
- Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
Nice To Haves
- 3 years of experience
- Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
