TOPS Specialty Surgical Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated per-diem Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. TOPS also operates four freestanding breast centers equipped with the latest 3D mammography technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Prepare and operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety and procedural protocols
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies during procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, equipment usage, and patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
Requirements
- Proficiency with imaging and monitoring equipment used in the cath lab
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Team-focused mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist program
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab or similar procedural setting preferred
