About The Position

Where You’ll Work St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Our services range from heart care and neuroscience to robotic surgery. Our recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP—Very Important Pregnancy—experience. Since 2008, our experienced doctors, nurses, and support staff have provided expert care to support our community. We are offering a 10k sign on retenion bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Job Summary and Responsibilities Operates the radiographic equipment utilizing radiation safety procedures Operates physiologic recorder/database system with expertise recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms Operates manifold, power injector, and other support equipment (VCR, ACT machines, oximeters, and transport monitors) Develops cines when necessary according to policy Able to recognize basic equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot equipment in room. Report malfunctions to Biomed promptly if unable to resolve Exhibits a strong knowledge base of cardiovascular diseases and is able to interpret date gathered during procedures and recognize potential implications in patient care or complications Helps to efficiently run schedule by maintaining a smooth and steady rate of work by working independently. Communicate with other room staff and schedule coordinator to maximize the productivity of the entire department. Perform other duties as assigned to enhance patient care and efficiency #nationalcathlabtech

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Minimum three (3) year clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • RCIS
  • BLS (14 day grace period)
  • ACLS (6 month grace period)

Responsibilities

  • Operates the radiographic equipment utilizing radiation safety procedures
  • Operates physiologic recorder/database system with expertise recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms
