About The Position

The Cat LabTech position involves preparing and assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI (STEMI) and other interventional procedures. The role requires monitoring and documenting hemodynamic data, providing procedural assistance to physicians, and managing patient access sites. The position adheres to on-call protocols and involves preparing patients for various procedures.

Requirements

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required.
• Cardiac Cath lab experience required.

Nice To Haves

• RCIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to the physician before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess and manage the access site and inform the physician.
• Adhere to on-call protocol for the Cath lab.
• Prepare the patient for procedures.
