Job Summary and Qualifications Every heartbeat matters—and as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you'll be part of the team that protects them. In this role, you'll stand alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. St. Davids South Austin Medical Center , which is part of St. Davids HealthCare. We are a 368-bed acute care facility offering a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties. Our services include a nationally accredited oncology program with the areas only adult Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program; advanced trauma care with a Level II trauma center; comprehensive cardiac, stroke and orthopedic programs; full-service maternity and newborn care; and two full-service emergency centers in the communities of Bee Cave and Bastrop. St. Davids South Austin Medical Center is affiliated with the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery. We offer advanced robotic services for orthopedics, open heart and lung surgery, complex GI surgery, surgical oncology, general surgery, colorectal surgery, and urology. Requirements

High School Diploma - Required
BLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy
ACLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy - Required within 6 months
RCIS, or RCES, or RT ( R ) license from an accrediting body - Required within 12 months

Nice To Haves

Cath Lab/Special Procedures Lab experience - P referred
Associate degree or above - Preferred
Current Enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program - Preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
