About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested
by physicians.  Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality
images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT or Board eligible
• New Mexico State licensure required.
• BLS certification required. For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire.
• ACLS obtained within the first year.
• Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurologic and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• A graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred
• One year radiologic experience preferred.
