About The Position
The Cath Lab Tech performs direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Assists all Physicians/staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Scrubs monitors and circulates in all invasive procedures in the Cath lab and IVR. (Invasive/surgical and interventional procedures) inventory control. Able to function on all cardiac alerts and STEMI cases.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
- Experience: Required: One-year hospital experience in Radiology
- Licenses: Current ARRT License
- Certifications: General Radiographer certification, State of Florida (CRT ). Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Preferred: Prior experience in Special Procedures or Cath Lab preferred
