Get to Know Your Team: The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist assists the Cardiologist with radiology procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This includes both Cardiovascular studies/interventions as well as Special Procedure studies/interventions. The patient population contains adults, and geriatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities. On-Call is required, and the employee must be able to respond and arrive in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an American Medical association approved radiology program.
Must be ARRT registered.
Must be licensed by the State of Texas.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

One year special procedures or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
