Cath Lab Tech lll
About The Position
Cath Lab Tech lll, PRN, Piedmont Columbus Midtown Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures, has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provide sedation for patients. Additionally will serve as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow cath lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory. Must be able to perform a combination of higher level work such as Cath and Vascular procedures
Requirements
- Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required
- 4 years of Cath Lab Tech Experience Required
- Based on the program above completed, one of the following is required upon hire Upon Hire Required RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and ACLS Upon Hire Required

- Additionally will serve as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow cath lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory.
