The Cath Lab Technologist plays a crucial role in assisting with cardiac procedures and other interventions performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab or at the bedside, utilizing medical imaging techniques and equipment. This position requires working under the direction of a licensed practitioner, ensuring that all procedures are conducted safely and effectively. The technologist is responsible for maintaining a positive image of the department and the hospital through professional interactions with patients, the public, physicians, and other hospital staff. This includes providing assistance, explaining procedures, and demonstrating concern for patients and their families in both face-to-face and telephone interactions. The Cath Lab Technologist is dedicated to upholding the hospital's Standards of Conduct and is committed to meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers. Additionally, the role may involve performing other related duties as necessary to support the department's operations.
