About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech with Invasive Cardiology experience to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume Cath Lab. Responsible for assisting physicians, operating imaging equipment, monitoring hemodynamics, administering contrast, and ensuring patient safety and radiation protection compliance. Procedure Experience Required Endovascular & Peripheral (Diagnostic/Interventional): Aortagram (LE/UE/Visceral), Carotid, AV Fistula, Venograms, Embolization, IVC Filter, Lytics, Dialysis access, Quinton Cath, TIPS, PICC, Biopsy Non-Vascular: Drains, G/J Tubes, Nephrostomy (Kidney Tubes), THC Biliary procedures
Requirements
- RCIS / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist: Associate’s degree (Cardiovascular Tech) or 3+ years recent Cath Lab experience
- RCIS required
- BLS & ACLS (current)
- IABP certification
- EP Specialist: 5 years recent EP experience or 2 of the following: CI, VI, RCIS
- BLS, ACLS, IABP
- Special Procedures Tech (I/II/III): Graduate of JRCERT Radiology Program
- ARRT registered
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
- 2+ years radiology or Cath/IR experience (varies by level)
- Required certifications based on level (RCIS/CI/VI/EP training)
- BLS, ACLS, IABP
Responsibilities
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor invasive procedures
- Record hemodynamic data
- Operate interventional/radiology equipment
- Assist with contrast administration
- Maintain sterile field & equipment
- Support patient care, transfers & education
- Inventory management & equipment safety checks
- Support EP program (if applicable)
