Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a CATH LAB-SPECIAL PROCEDURES TECHNOLOGIST to join our CATH LAB team! The Cath Lab Technologist provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic/intervention services to patients of all ages, under medical supervision. Primarily at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, but will travel to Aspirus Wausau Hospital as needed
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Health Sciences, or through equivalent experience.
- One year experience in an active care setting.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- RTR, RCIS, RCES, or RRT certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Cath Lab, OR, critical care nursing, non-invasive monitoring, scrub area and personal computers beneficial.
- ACLS certification is beneficial.
- ECG interpretive skills.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Cath Lab monitoring systems.
- Possesses a complete and thorough understanding of the operation of all patient monitors including EKG, invasive pressure, NIBP, SAO2, etc.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of EKG rhythm.
- Possesses a working knowledge of both hospital and department specific computer systems.
