Schedule cardiology procedures and or follow-ups. Prepare patient charts and ensure accurate documentation in the HER. Confirm insurance authorizations. Coordinate a multidisciplinary approach when scheduling all procedures. Educate patients on cardiac testing procedures, device use, and follow-up care. Provide instructions for pre- and post-procedure care. Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up appointments Participate in periodic audits to ensure registry data integrity and accuracy. Work closely with the billing department to resolve discrepancies between the chargemaster, and coded services. Review and adjust charges periodically based on cost changes, new services, or regulatory requirements. Assist with closing accounts after checking that all charges are accurate; support adding modifiers, and cci edits. Pay attention to detail. High level of accuracy in data entry, coding and billing tasks are required. Assists with inventory. Maintains charge sheet for all procedures.
