About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Critical Care setting are incredibly important members of the medical team who have the humbling task of caring for our sickest and most vulnerable patients. RNs not only provide high-quality medical care, but they also provide a healing touch and a compassionate presence to patients and their families during joyful, stressful and uncertain times.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification based on patient population.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of science in nursing.
  • Critical Care Nursing experience.
  • Specialty certifications such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).

Responsibilities
