About The Position

Heartline Staffing a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute-care hospital in Eureka, California. This role supports a busy cardiac catheterization lab providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures for adult and geriatric patient populations. This position is scheduled for day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with required on-call coverage. The Cath Lab RN will support coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams throughout the hospital. The Cath Lab RN will participate in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including stent placement, PCI, catheterizations, pacemaker-related procedures, vascular access, and procedural sedation. Epic is used for charting. This facility is recognized nationally for excellence in coronary intervention and offers free parking, strong clinical support, and proximity to California’s coastline and multiple state and national parks.

Requirements

Active California (CA) Registered Nurse license in hand
Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
Active BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Ability to take on-call shifts and weekend coverage
Ability to meet all facility compliance and credentialing deadlines
