About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role supports a high-acuity cardiac care environment, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate is skilled in cath lab workflows, patient monitoring, and procedural support, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maryland or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and sedation as appropriate
- Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile field
- Respond to emergency situations, including code events
- Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards
