About The Position

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is the hospital of choice for many families in the Manatee-Sarasota region. LWRMC is conveniently located near I-75 and University Parkway in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. This position is for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN basis, requiring 10-hour shifts and on-call availability. The role involves providing safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, with a foundation in Patient Centered Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Prefer one year, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
• Additional certifications required at start date or intrafacility transfer.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification as of start date for all Nursing Units (except nursery).
• NRP certification as of start date for Women's Center (inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days of start date).
• NIH certification within 90 days of start date or prior to completion of orientation for ICU/PCU.
• PALS and CPI certifications within 90 days of start date for ER.
• PALS certification as of start date for PACU (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days of hire or prior completion of orientation).
