About The Position

Position Summary: Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures and other duties as assigned. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist. Perform examinations on patients of various ages from Adult to geriatric.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Tech or RCIS/RCES Program
  • Cardiovascular Technology Degree Employees: RCES registery Required (CVT program graduate only); CVT program graduate with no prior work experience has 18 months from hire date to obtain the RCIS certifications; New Hire/Internal Transfer Cardiovascular tech with limited experience in a Cath Lab has 18 months from their hire date/transfer date to obtain the RCIS certification
  • Radiology Technology Degree Employees: Florida Radiology Technologist license ARRT Registry in Radiology Technology BLS Certification; Florida Radiology Technologist license; ARRT Registry in Radiology Technology
  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS Certification
