Certified to operate fluoro/pan with Fluoro CA license addendum. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Prepares power injector and contrast medium. Injects contrast during procedures and monitors injector rates/ quantity of contrast administered during all procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT-R and licenses as required by State.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Required to travel and work at multiple locations as assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology; preferred.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
