About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Cath Lab/IR Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Cath Lab/IR Registered Nurse you will: Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care in the procedural setting. Provides quality care that in accordance to Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patient and physician Provide moderate sedation to the patient while maintaining patient safety Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • 3-5 years Critical Care experience required. Cath Lab, interventional radiology, or other procedural experience preferred
  • Current RN license in the state of Maryland
  • Professional Nursing certification
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and • • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
