About The Position

We are seeking an ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), RCIS, or CVT with extensive Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience to provide clinical case coverage and device in-servicing for vascular intervention therapies. This is a PRN/1099 consulting opportunity — ideal for professionals looking to supplement their current work with flexible, high-impact assignments in the Austin area.

Requirements

• ARRT RT(R), RCIS, or CVT credential (active, in good standing)
• 5+ years Cath Lab / IR / Hybrid OR experience (PCI, stents, TAVR, DVT/PE interventions, EVAR, Watchman, etc.)
• Familiarity with devices such as AngioJet, Impella, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotablator, Penumbra
• Strong communication and teaching skills for staff training and in-servicing
• PRN/1099 flexibility (1–3 days/week as needed)
• Willingness to travel locally within Austin and surrounding facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub and case support in Cath Labs, Hybrid ORs, and IR Suites
• Deliver in-servicing and training to physicians, nurses, and staff on thrombectomy and vascular devices
• Troubleshoot devices and support procedural flow during interventions
• Cover cases across Austin metro hospitals (local travel as needed)
