Cath Lab In‑Service Specialist
About The Position
We are hiring Cath Lab In‑Service Specialists to support clinical education and hands-on product training for vascular access devices used in advanced interventional procedures. This is a clinical consulting role (not sales) where you will work directly with hospital staff, delivering procedural support and in-servicing in Cath Labs and Interventional Radiology suites across the San Antonio metro region . This role is ideal for experienced RNs, RCISs, RTs, or CVTs seeking a flexible PRN schedule , strong hourly pay, and the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge procedures while maintaining autonomy.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Cath Lab, IR, or Vascular Access settings
- Active clinical licensure/certification: RN, RCIS, RT(R), CVT, etc.
- Strong communication and clinical teaching ability
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the region
- Comfort working independently with minimal oversight
Nice To Haves
- Experience with clinical in-servicing or medical device education
- Familiarity with DVT, PE, catheter-directed thrombolysis , or similar therapies
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-servicing and product education to hospital clinical teams
- Provide procedural support for device introductions or high-acuity cases
- Educate staff during onboarding, go-lives, and product integrations
- Act as a clinical liaison to assigned hospitals and facilities
- Document all activity, feedback, and support provided in the field
