About The Position

Join our growing Cath Lav Team in this exciting role as a Cath Lab/EP Tech. You will be part of the interdisciplinary team assisting in the performance of invasive and cardiac procedures.

Requirements

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience. No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BCLS and ACLS Required

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
• Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
