About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. The position is located in the Cath Lab at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL, with a schedule of daytime hours, 40 hours per week, variable. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is available.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification based on patient population.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of science in nursing.
• Critical Care Nursing experience.
• Specialty certifications such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Work collaboratively with the Multispecialty Care team.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
