About The Position

Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring a Cath Holding Procedure RN for Cardiac, Vascular, and IR Services. This position is full-time days, Monday through Friday, with no scheduled holidays or weekends and minimal on-call duties. The primary duties include performing invasive vascular procedures to establish and maintain dialysis access, assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of patients. Teamwork is emphasized, ensuring the best care for patients.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in cardiac and vascular nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive vascular procedures to establish and maintain dialysis access.
• Assess and admit patients.
• Conduct rounding checks.
• Administer medications.
