Position Summary The Catering Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the catering department and directly supervises all catering associates. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead all catering associates, providing direction, coaching, and oversight to ensure efficient operations and high service standards.
  • Oversee daily catering department operations, including opening and closing procedures, food production, delivery, organization, cleanliness, and readiness for service.
  • Coordinate catering production and logistics with store departments to ensure accurate and timely execution of catering orders and events.
  • Supervise catering staff during on-site and off-site events, overseeing setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Maintain department cleanliness and enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations in accordance with company policies and local requirements.
  • Monitor product quality, oversee receipt and proper storage of product, and assist with inventory control and supply needs.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for catering associates, resolving routine operational and service issues and escalating larger concerns to the Catering Manager as appropriate.
  • Assist customers with catering-related inquiries and in-store consultations for special events or large orders.
  • Support onboarding and training of catering associates to ensure compliance with operational, food safety, and service standards.
  • Maintain accurate operational, administrative, and billing records, including order documentation, invoices, adjustments, and coordination with management on discrepancies.
  • Assist with daily staffing coverage adjustments and schedule coordination as needed to support catering operations.
  • Communicate department needs, challenges, and operational updates to the Catering Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support catering and store operations.
