About The Position

Ninfa’s Catering operates as a centralized team supporting events for both: The Original Ninfa's on Navigation Ninfa's Uptown Houston In addition to in-house events, our catering team services corporate, university, private, and community events across the Houston area. This is not a traditional restaurant server position. Catering Servers are part of a dedicated event team representing the Ninfa’s brand across multiple venues and environments. The Catering Server delivers polished, professional service at both on-site and off-site events. Responsibilities include event setup, buffet and passed service, guest interaction, and event breakdown. Schedules are event-based and vary weekly depending on catering bookings. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Requirements

Previous serving or catering experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume event environments
Reliable transportation to travel to event sites across Houston
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
If assisting with deliveries: Valid driver’s license required
Must meet motor vehicle record (MVR) standards if assigned driving responsibilities
Evening and weekend availability required

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup, including buffet lines, beverage stations, and décor placement
Provide professional, attentive guest service at corporate, university, private, and community events
Execute buffet service, tray-passed appetizers, and beverage service as assigned
Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout events
Assist with event breakdown, equipment loading, and cleanup
Represent the Ninfa’s brand with professionalism and positive energy
Work collaboratively with catering leads, drivers, and kitchen teams
