About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Proactively prospect and secure new business for catering sales, conference services, banquet events, corporate meetings, weddings, and social functions through targeted outreach, networking, and industry partnerships. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize catering revenue, achieve/exceed monthly/annual targets, and grow market share in the luxury hospitality sector. Manage full sales cycle: respond to leads, conduct site tours/showcases, customize proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding couples, and local/international partners. Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution, from menu planning and setup to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up. Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and budgets; utilize CRM/event management software to track opportunities and performance. Stay ahead of industry trends in Florida Keys events, competitor offerings, and innovative catering concepts to maintain a competitive edge. Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues to create memorable guest experiences and generate repeat/referral business. Qualifications & Skills (to attract top talent): Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. 3–5+ years of proven experience in catering sales, hotel/resort event sales, conference services, or wedding sales (luxury resort or full-service hotel background highly preferred). Strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and building client portfolios. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., Delphi, Salesforce), and event planning software. Knowledge of food & beverage trends, menu development, and banquet operations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed for events. Requirements
