About The Position

Summary: The Catering Driver is responsible for delivering and setting up Taco Time food service for offsite catering events. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting catering orders from our restaurant(s) to various customer locations, ensuring on-time delivery and excellent service.

The hours for this position are approximately Monday-Friday: 1-2 hours around lunchtime (10am-12pm) & variable weekends in the afternoon depending on business. Less than 10 hours a week!

This is a perfect part-time job for App Based Drivers including UberEats, DoorDash, PostMates etc. or Gig Workers with FLEXIBLE schedules.

Requirements

• Current Food Handlers Permit
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to successfully pass a DMV check.
• Must have 3 years clean driving record and must be licensed for a minimum of 2 years.
• Reliable clean vehicle in good repair with current registration and insurance
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Requires ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow appropriate communications channels.
• Demonstrates competency by maintaining positive, collaborative, and constructive interpersonal relationships. Understands and practices the principles of effective teamwork.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize work assignments and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Adapts easily to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new procedures.
• Effective organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to use standard office equipment including personal computers, telephones, copiers and fax machines.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Proficient keyboarding skills required.

• Banquet/Event/Catering experience, is a PLUS!!!

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver catering food orders in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all deliveries
• Provide friendly guest service and the highest level of hospitality.
• Obtain guests signatures on all orders.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Set up food and beverages at event locations according to Taco Time NW catering standards.
• Ability to deliver for multiple restaurants within local geographical area.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned.
