About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a CATERING DOT DRIVER I (PART TIME) position. This individual will provide transportation services to passengers by driving a van/shuttle within a designated area for a client. They will be expected to professionally interact and communicate with all passengers while providing exceptional customer service. Responsible for assembling, delivering, and serving food and supplies for catered events while ensuring timely service and compliance with company standards. Communicates effectively with both front- and back-of-house teams, follows BEO instructions, and maintains proper food temperatures and sanitation. Assists with setup, service, and breakdown, returns equipment, and supplies, and keeps the catering area and vehicle clean. Provides friendly, courteous service to all guests.

Requirements

• 5+ years Driving experience
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
• 1 -2 years relevant customer service or driving experience
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to multi-task and adjust to changes quickly

Nice To Haves

• Food Service experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely transports passengers along designated routes as arranged by schedule or dispatch
• Reviews and submits vehicle work tickets when required
• Cleans vehicles daily and performs basic maintenance functions (fills gas, adds fluids, etc.) as needed
• Responds to emergency needs as dictated by road conditions, vehicle situations, traffic conditions or environmental situations
• Provides overall support and customer service to all facets of the operation
• Provides feedback to management on how services may be improved
• Performs other duties as assigned
