Catering Delivery Driver, Airports/FBO - Hiring Event 12/16 - 12/19
About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Catering Delivery Driver to join our team, serving corporate and FBO (Fixed Base Operator) airports. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face delivering catering orders swiftly and safely to meet the high standards of our clients. Our drivers are responsible for the timely, safe, and professional delivery and setup of catering orders. This individual represents Iacofano’s Catering & Events at client sites, airports, corporate offices, and event venues, providing excellent service while ensuring all delivery and brand standards are met. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our clients receive their orders on time while maintaining professionalism and safety throughout your shift.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal proof of insurance
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs; navigate stairs, ramps, and tarmacs
- Smart Phone comfort using routing/mobile apps for directions and digital logs
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality, aviation, or delivery experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box vans and car vehicles to deliver catering orders to airports, corporate and FBO locations.
- Load and unload deliveries, handling heavy lifting with proper techniques to ensure safety.
- Follow designated routes efficiently, managing time to meet delivery schedules.
- Verify orders against invoices or packing slips prior to departure
- Follow detailed delivery protocols including setup, labeling, and temperature control
- Collect POD (proof of delivery) and report to Client Success of any mishaps
- Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and report maintenance needs/incidents immediately
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving.
- Refuel using Fuelman card and follow receipt upload procedures
- Complete store stops as directed by dispatch or supervisor
- Upload receipts and handle products responsibly
- Assist with packing, cleanup, and facility support when not on route
