About The Position

We are looking for a vibrant, people person to join our team at the URBN Headquarters in the historic Philadelphia Naval Yard! You would be responsible for helping to create an unparalleled dining experience, under guidelines set forth by management. This role has a specific concentration in our catering department, previous catering experience is preferrred! The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service by building customer relationships and fostering a positive and friendly store environment. You would perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently while maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of dining room

  • Ability to work regular shift Monday through Friday from ranging from 6:30 to 3:30 with overtime as needed into the evenings and on occasional weekends.
  • Ability to be on time consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Assures that warm and sincere contact is established with each and every customer.
  • Supports in-house catering team with packaging and delivering at appropriate times
  • Consistently provides exceptional customer service in compliance with the highest professional performance standards.
  • Exercises product knowledge and understanding of POS terminal operation, completes cash and credit card transactions accurately and completely and as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Works with co-workers and supervisors on issues relating to product knowledge, POS terminal operation, technical malfunctions, customer questions, complaints and concerns.
  • On a daily basis, maintains a clean environment in areas pertaining to front of house staff.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and equipment
